How to make Japanese Dressing

Japanese dressing is a type of salad dressing that is made with soy sauce, vinegar, and oil. It is a versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of salads, vegetables, and other dishes.

The basic ingredients of Japanese dressing are soy sauce, vinegar, and oil. Soy sauce is a fermented soybean paste that gives the dressing its salty and umami flavor. Vinegar provides acidity and tartness, while oil adds richness and creaminess.

Here is how to make a dressing with onions.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions


1.Mince an onion.
You can also use a food processor to finely chop them.

2.put oil in the pan.
Next, add the onions and saute until golden brown.

3.When onions are golden brown, add mirin.
Turn off heat in 40 seconds.

4.Add sugar,rice vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

5.Then mix well.
When the sauce is mixed, it’s ready to serve.

6.Can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for one week.
